Mission Statement

The Aquatic Ecosystem Health and Management Society (AEHMS) was established in 1989 to encourage and promote integrated, ecosystemic, and holistic initiatives for the protection and conservation of global aquatic resources. It focuses on the following: adoption of ecosystemic health concept, application of integrated management/restoration, organization of conferences/symposia/workshops, and publication of its primary journal (Aquatic Ecosystem Health and Management - AEHM) and books (Ecovision World Monograph Series)
